Teaching
SAHRA is an experienced Jazz Vocalist currently teaching at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. Her goal is to work alongside students to help them become unique and well rounded musicians. This includes introducing new repertoire, improving technique and vocal ability whilst also working on songwriting and collaboration ie. how to lead a band.
Workshops
SAHRA is passionate about group singing. She regularly runs vocal workshop and through Trinity Laban coaches ensembles. This includes working with instrumental ensembles exploring how to play together and shape a performance.
SISTRUM
SAHRA taught singing in nurseries and primary schools for over 10 years. She has always been passionate about sharing music with young people. SISTRUM is SAHRA’s newest community venture. SISTRUM is a platform through which SAHRA offers free/pay what you can singing lessons and music workshops for those who are unable to currently afford them.
